"Alright class these are our new students." The three students stood at the front of the class. They were all...different. Much more different than the usual newcomers who walked through those doors. I looked into the mirror as I finished washing my face. I was surprised to see a completely different person. The girl across from me looked so tired...the circles under her eyes had gotten bigger since school had started. She was paler than usual, but also had a red dusting her cheeks like one does when they're sick. The corners of her mouth naturally turn down giving the idea that she was upset (which usually got her into a few arguments with her mother). She was in fact upset. I dried my face and she followed my lead. I then begun the job of combing out my long hair. She did the same and winced every now and again when the brush caught on
